The You Are Here Christmas London Gold on Black is another very interesting unreleased Holiday Edition mug for the capital of the UK. This prototype uses a striking matte black exterior with metallic gold artwork and lettering, giving the familiar You Are Here design a much more elegant and festive appearance. Based on the sticker on the bottom, it was probably planned for the 2017 holiday season, but unfortunately never made it to stores. Interestingly, Starbucks later used a very similar black-and-gold color combination for the Pike Place mugs later, so the idea clearly was not abandoned completely.… Read more

The You Are Here Christmas – London Speckle Debossed mug is a fascinating prototype from a private collection, and it is currently being offered for sale. That makes this a rare opportunity to acquire a truly unique piece of Starbucks memorabilia, especially since this version never made it to store shelves. Christmas mug in July? I’ll take it! Thanks to our follower, it was revealed that a very interesting release was missing from the Starbucks-Mugs.com collection. I hasten to fix this mistake and place You Are Here Christmas – Sweden mug where it belongs! The release of the Sweden Christmas ornament makes more sense now. For some reason, I didn’t question why there was no bigger version of it then.

You Are Here Christmas Glass – Amsterdam

You Are Here Christmas Glass Amsterdam is the third and last of Glass City mugs released in 2020. Similar to others, it’s design is based on previously released (2017) YAH Christmas Amsterdam. Interestingly enough, that was the only Christmas version of this city mug, as opposed to Paris and London that had two.
Again, when comparing two mugs side-by-side it seems that all elements match, except for their location on the mug. As an example, the Christmas hat has been moved from being closer to the handle, to the left of the front of the mug.… Read more

You Are Here Christmas Glass – London

You Are Here Christmas Glass London mug is very similar in terms of the design to YAH Christmas London v2, that was released three years ago (2017). The comparison picture below shows that apart from being made of glass the new mug brings rearranged points of interest from the city. Some were moved and seem to be reduced in size, others were altered, e.g. the Christmas tree replaced the regular-looking tree.

So different, yet, the resemblance is there. You Are Here Christmas Glass – Paris mug shows a revised design of the YAH Christmas Paris v2 released back in 2017. It is amazing how fast time flies!
For your convenience here’s the side-by-side comparison of these two below. The changes are subtle: the snowman has moved closer to the title of the mug, certain landmarks became smaller, including the Eiffel Tower.

You Are Here Christmas – Ireland

Starbucks You Are Here Christmas – Ireland is the latest addition to the Holiday mugs family. As you can see from the pictures below, the differences with the regular mug are subtle: Holiday hats and gift boxes. I would also like to point at Santa Claus’s sleigh at the roof of the house (see the back of the mug). Speaking out of my head, I don’t recall this nice little detail from any other Christmas mugs.
