You Are Here Ornament – Cambodia

A pleasant surprise for ornaments collectors – Starbucks You Are Here Ornament Cambodia. This release is special, since it’s the first time I see the same ornament coming in two different boxes. First, is the regular YAH Ornament box, the green one with grayish cover, as seen above. The second one is a set of three Cambodian ornaments – Cambodia, Siem Reap and Phnom Penh together. Thus you now have two options – either buy them separately or as a trio.… Read more

You Are Here – Cambodia

Starbucks You Are Here Cambodia is another country mug from Asia. The front of the mug is mostly occupied by Ta Prohm – ancient temple located in Angkor. It was built between 12th and 13th centuries and it is also worth mentioning that the original name of this temple is Rajavihara – “monastery of the king”. It was included in UNESCO World Heritage List in 1992 and is now in pretty much the same condition in which it was found.… Read more

Been There – South Dakota 2

I sincerely though we’re done with US Error mugs. Boy, was I wrong! Here comes Starbucks Been There South Dakota v2! The element which has been adjusted is word “pronghorn” instead of “prong horn deer”. The flag of the state of Colorado
the “Centennial State” nickname. It is because Colorado became a state a century after the signing of the United States Declaration of Independence.
Colorado Bighorn – is a species of sheep specific to this particular region
– some kind for spruce or fir, which is the only green element on the mug.… Read more

Been There Ornament – Houston

Here’s another mini mug from Texas, this time it’s Starbucks Been There Ornament Houston. The color palette is green and brown while string is green. What do we see here:
Magnolia City is one of the earliest of Houston’s many nicknames.
a horseshoe – referring to ranchers
an oil rig – since the economy of Houston is based primarily on the energy industry, particularly oil
Houston City Hall – constructed during 1938 and 1939
I would like to specifically mention the Starbucks cup, which is supposed to be found on each of the mugs from Been There series.… Read more
