This Been There Cebu Christmas 2025 mug completes the trio of recent Philippines holiday releases. Visually, it stays very close to the original Cebu design, but the treatment is completely different. The regular mug uses the familiar Been There palette with blue, teal, orange, and gray accents, while the 2023 Summer Edition strips the artwork down to mostly black outlines. The 2025 Christmas version goes in yet another direction, using a deep blue outline across the entire design and adding subtle holiday details such as snowflakes, stars, a wrapped gift, and other seasonal decorations.… Read more

You Are Here Christmas – London Gold on Black

The You Are Here Christmas London Gold on Black is another very interesting unreleased Holiday Edition mug for the capital of the UK. This prototype uses a striking matte black exterior with metallic gold artwork and lettering, giving the familiar You Are Here design a much more elegant and festive appearance. Based on the sticker on the bottom, it was probably planned for the 2017 holiday season, but unfortunately never made it to stores. Interestingly, Starbucks later used a very similar black-and-gold color combination for the Pike Place mugs later, so the idea clearly was not abandoned completely.… Read more

The Been There Manila Christmas 2025 is already the third iteration of the Holiday Edition Been There mug for the city. While the artwork remains largely familiar, Starbucks has again changed the outline colour. The original Christmas release from 2022 featured gold outlines, while the second version from 2024 used black; this time, the 2025 edition switches to red. Been There Christmas – Manila 2 (2023) was released together with this mug. It is pretty easy to get lost between Philippines releases, so here are some distinctive features of this particular mug, that will allow you to tell it apart from others:
1. The box and the inside of the mug are purple
2. The design replicates the regular mug but has a Christmas (red) reusable cup next to the name of the mug

I am finally adding Starbucks Been There Christmas – Philippines 2 here, so you can have a proper understanding of the Special Edition mugs from the Land of Smiles. This particular release was spotted during the 2023 Holiday season. It resembles the Summer Edition which I’ve reviewed recently, except instead of black, Starbucks used gold color to outline the elements of the design. When compared to the Philippines Christmas v1, this new version doesn’t have any Holiday-themed elements, except for the red cup right next to the palm tree.… Read more

Been There Christmas Manila is following the release of the country mug from Republika ng Pilipinas. Similarly, the design of the regular mug was revised, with some elements rearranged and new holiday elements added: huge Christmas tree to the right of the title, gift boxes, and ornaments.
It is worth mentioning that there were three YAH Christmas mugs from Manila released in the previous years.

Starbucks Been There Christmas Philippines mug is the Holiday Edition of the regular mug that I’ve reviewed two years ago. If you compare these two mugs side by side (see the picture below), it becomes obvious that they’re quite different. Looking back at the holiday releases from previous years, I expected small elements added or replaced to introduce that Christmas spirit: trees are replaced with Christmas trees, gifts, snowmen, candy canes, etc. With the Been There Christmas Philippines mug, Starbucks decided to go that extra mile to make it unique.… Read more
