Been There – Canada’s Wonderland

Been There – Canada’s Wonderland is a mug for Canada’s largest amusement park, which is located near Toronto. It took two years to build the park and it was opened to the public in May 1981. Canada’s Wonderland has the third highest amount of coasters (seventeen) in a single park, right behind Six Flags Magic Mountain in the US and Poland’s Energylandia respectively.
Here are some of the elements of the design, featuring attractions and sections of the park:
– the front of the mug shows the main entrance to the park with the Canadian Flag flowerbed, fountains, and Wonder Mountain with a huge waterfall.… Read more

You Are Here Disney – Disneyland Paris 2

The rumors about the release of the anniversary edition mug, namely You Are Here Disney – Disneyland Paris 2 have been confirmed by the pictures of the actual mug that is now available for sale in the Disney Village. The good news is that the Disney Village is located outside of the parks, so you don’t have to buy tickets to get this special edition item. On the other hand, it was confirmed that the first (regular) version of the Disneyland Paris is still available in store.… Read more

Been There Ornament – Universal Studios Resort

Starbucks Been There Ornament – Universal Studios Resort is being finally released, almost three years after its full-size sibling. I was quite disappointed back then since ornaments hold a special place in my heart. Thanks, Starbucks, for fixing this!
The new ornament, unlike the latest Disney minis, has fewer elements in the design, when compared to the bigger mug. The box is orange and the string is blue.
Going from the right to the left of the ornament, here’s what we see:
There is the entrance to Universal Studios Florida (a.k.a.… Read more

Been There Ornament Disney – Magic Kingdom 2

This is Been There Ornament Disney – Magic Kingdom v2 that you can find on the shelves in the park, next to the bigger mug. Read my previous post for a full review of the list of symbols that can be found on both mug and ornament. And yes for v2s, Starbucks decided to make the design of the mug and ornament identical, which is different from what we’ve seen before.

Been There Disney – Magic Kingdom 2

I am finally reviewing the Been There Disney – Magic Kingdom v2 mug that was delayed for some reason. All four new mugs for the Walt Disney World have the “50th Anniversary” theme in their design however it is only Magic Kingdom that was opened 50 years ago, on October 1, 1971. The second park, Epcot, was only opened 11 years later!
Similar to other recent Disney mugs, this one has a legend on the cover with a list of all the elements from the mug’s design.… Read more

Been There Disney – Animal Kingdom 2

Like I’ve mentioned in the previous post, two parks got new releases so far, and Starbucks Been There Disney – Animal Kingdom 2 is the other mug from today. Again, we can see the gold box and the big “50th Anniversary” detail on the cover. I am waiting for the better pics of the mug and the box, especially the side with the legend mentioning all the elements from the mug. Stay tuned for the full review!

Been There Disney – Hollywood Studios 2

The rumors about the releases commemorating the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary have been in the air for quite some time. And it is now official, Starbucks has revealed the new mugs and ornaments for at least two parks today.
This is Been There Disney – Hollywood Studios 2 and as you can see it’s quite different from the “regular” releases, even Disney ones. The box is not orange anymore but has a rather gold color and the top of the cover reminds us about the 50th Anniversary of the WDW.… Read more

Been There – Yosemite National Park

The release of Been There – Yosemite National Park denotes the further expansion of the BT series beyond cities and countries. Yes, we had amusement parks, but never a National Park, which made me wonder what other parks have Starbucks stores in them? After a quick search, it seems that this is the only one so far, and I think I know what could be the reason for that. It seems that the news about the opening of the store in Yosemite National Park was not well received by many park admirers.… Read more
