Similar to other Italian mugs, this release was timed to the opening of the new Starbucks store, this time in Rome. Turin is well known for its Baroque, Rococo, Neo-classical, and Art Nouveau architectures and its numerous palaces, squares, parks, art galleries, museums, theatres, and churches. There was no way to fit them all on the mug, so it was a tough choice for the Starbucks designers.… Read more

With Christmas just around the corner, I gave up on seeing Holiday Edition mugs from Italy. Boy, was I wrong! It has been revealed today, that Bel Paese gets both Christmas full-size mug and ornament.
As you can see, You Are Here Christmas – Italy has traditional (for the last two years) design with the red handle. Let me remind you, that there are not that many stores in this country. In fact, only two cities have Starbucks stores – Milan (most of those) and Turin (only one so far).… Read more
