You Are Here – Hai Phong

Little bit unexpected, yet pleasant surprise from Vietnam – Starbucks You Are Here Hai Phong mug. Love it’s colors! It almost made me want to collect all five Vietnamese YAHs. Interesting enough, according to Starbucks Vietnam Facebook page, you can only buy this mug at Starbucks Tran Phu, 15A Tran Phu street, Hai Phong city, but I am pretty sure in a month or two it will appear in all major airports of the country.
Hai Phong is a major industrial city and the third largest city in Vietnam.… Read more

You Are Here – Greece

Finally, the anticipated Mediterranean YAH is here! Yes, I am talking about Starbucks You Are Here Greece mug. What do you guys think of it? To be honest with you, I am not impressed at all. It seems like Starbucks is running out of ideas for YAH collection. Similar to recent Germany mug, the new release has very little details. Apart from the sun, mountains (Mount Lycabettus probably) and an olive tree, there are only 3 other elements:
– Temple of Apollo (Ancient Corinth) – built in the 7th century.… Read more

Been There – Wyoming

Can you guess what tag wasn’t used at Starbucks-Mugs.com yet? You got it – Wyoming! Well, that’s in the past, since Starbucks has just released Been There Wyoming mug. Unfortunately we only see the back of the mug as that’s what was spotted online. Still, the mug is real and it already has caused arguments among muggers on whether they are going to collect it or not! Personally, I think it is just amazing that all states get their respective mug, even those with very few number of Starbucks stores.… Read more

You Are Here – Heidelberg

Yet another YAH from Germany! Is it going to be as big as China? Nonetheless, please meet Starbucks You Are Here Heidelberg mug. This town on the Neckar River is known for the Heidelberg University, founded back in 1386, making it Germany’s oldest university. Only 150k people leave in Heidelberg and half of them are students. Add here numerous tourists looking for historical points of attraction and pleasant views. And that’s what they coming for:

Been There – Pennsylvania

Like it or not, this is happening! No less than the first real BT mug was spotted in stores. And this is… Starbucks Been There Pennsylvania mug! I did expect these to come later, but it’s here and it’s real. Numerous stores across US and Canada already announced YAH retirement by placing signs next to stands with mugs earlier this week. I still thought we have time, but there isn’t. Hoard what you can hoard guys!

P.S. I will update the post with the description of the mug later.… Read more

You Are Here – Germany

We had eleven German cities released prior getting to this one – Starbucks You Are Here Germany mug. Believe it or not, this is the 12th mug from this country.
As for design, this is probably the first time when I can name all elements from the mug easily:
– sun and mountains
– German sausages – there are literally hundreds of different German sausages. Important to note, that sausage names like Bratwurst, Kochwurst, Rohwurst, Brühwurst, Blutwurst or Leberwurst do not represent a particular German sausage, but a sausage type which is made in a particular way.… Read more

You Are Here – Helsinki

Here is the first YAH from Finland – Starbucks You Are Here Helsinki mug.
Did you know Helsinki can be shortened to Hki? This is the capital and the larges city in Finland located on the shore of the Gulf of Finland (Baltic Sea). It was founded in 1550 as the town of Helsingfors and later renamed to Helsinki.
The front of the mug:
Eduskuntatalo (Parliament House) – is the seat of the Parliament of Finland. The building was officially opened on March 7, 1931 and has been the key place of Finland’s political life since.… Read more
