You Are Here – Ba Na Hills

You Are Here – Ba Na Hills mug is released for a mountain resort in the DaNang province. It was founded in 1919 and is located as high as 4,872 ft above the sea offering lower temperatures (10-15 degrees) as compared to ocean shore below and amazing views of the surrounding mountains. This resort is holding the world record for longest non-stop single track cable car (3.6 miles long), you can see those on the front of the mug. Another point of interest is the “Golden Bridge” (The Cau Vang), footbridge supported by two huge stone hands.… Read more

You Are Here – Qujing

When we thought Starbucks is done with releasing Chinese mugs, they come with the new one. You Are Here – Qujing is the latest addition to an already huge family.
It is mostly nature which occupies the sides of the mug. We see mountains, hills, rivers, waterfalls, and forests. There is only one man made landmark on the front and it is Puli Bridge – a suspension bridge which is 1,591 ft tall (one of the highest in the world).

You Are Here – Serbia

Starbucks You Are Here – Serbia is the first mug released for this country. April 16 was the official opening day of the store in Belgrade.

Serbia, located in Southeast Europe on the Balkan Peninsula, is a landlocked country with a rich history and diverse cultural heritage. Belgrade, the capital and largest city, sits at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, serving as a vibrant cultural and economic hub. Serbia has endured a complex history marked by various empires and conflicts, contributing to its diverse architectural styles and traditions.… Read more

You Are Here Ornament – Switzerland

Here is the second mini mug from the recent weekend release. Starbucks You Are Here Ornament Switzerland is a colorful representative of this adorable series and has everything this country is famous for: cheese, chocolate, watch, lakes, and mountains. And for the latter, designers specifically depicted the Matterhorn, a pyramidal peak between Italy and Switzerland. The four steep faces, rising above the surrounding glaciers, face the four compass points and are split by the Hörnli, Furggen, Leone/Lion, and Zmutt ridges. As for the bear (on the back of the mug), this is probably related to Bern, “city of Bears”.… Read more

You Are Here Ornament – Austria

It has been a while since the last YAH ornament has been added here. I sincerely believed that Starbucks will be releasing one ornament every Friday. Unfortunately, this didn’t happen, and as an excuse, our beloved company has delivered two minis in one shot last weekend. You Are Here Ornament Austria is one of those. It comes with the blue string and has the same color inside, similar to the bigger mug, Austria YAH. As a reminder, there was also a limited edition ornament for this country.… Read more

You Are Here Ornament – Phuket

Similar to two Thailand YAHs coming out together, there are also two minis in the batch. Starbucks You Are Here Ornament Phuket is accompanying Pattaya and I believe will be available in stores together with the latter (somewhere in April). The ornament has the navy string, and as you can see, it is of the regular shape. Not sure what I am talking about? Just compare it to the string used for Thailand YAH Ornament, which was the only mini with this type of string (flat ribbon, instead of rope).… Read more

You Are Here Ornament – Pattaya

This is good news for mini mugs collectors, because previously announced Pattaya YAH comes with a smaller brother, Starbucks You Are Here Ornament Pattaya. The inside of the ornament is pink, as well as the string. Just a reminder, it’s not been released officially yet, wait for the April to get it.
Update: since it has been released, I’ve added a collage of all its sides:

You Are Here – Phuket

Here’s the second mug for Thailand to be released soon – Starbucks You Are Here – Phuket. And since Phuket is an island known for amazing beaches and resorts, we again see some ocean scenery to be used for the design of the mug. As an addition to that, there are some houses representing Sino-Portuguese architecture. It is a mix of European and Chinese styles and is coming from the era of Western imperialism when Portuguese settlers hired Chinese workers to build houses and other facilities for them.… Read more
