Starbucks Been There Ornament Louisiana has been released with no major delay (you probably remember the bigger mug errors?). It has green string and that’s what we see on the front:
– the steamboat – those played a major role in the 19th-century development of the Mississippi River
– the banjo – which originated in West Africa has a rich and complex history in New Orleans and more broadly Louisiana.
– Wetlands of Louisiana – swamp regions of southern Louisiana
– the catfish (I believe) – popular fish in swamp areas

Starbucks Been There Ornament West Virginia has grey string and many small elements on the front of the mug.
– Mountains with the skier going downhill – West Virginia is located entirely within the Appalachian Mountains with Snowshoe Mountain Resort in Pocahontas County being the largest winter resort in the Mid-Atlantic region
– the snake – I could not find any information if there are any special snakes in WV (not found anywhere else)

– The covered bridge – probably related to Parke County Covered Bridge Festival. Parke County is the county with the most covered bridges – 31.

Here’s Starbucks Been There Ornament Wyoming. It has a yellow string and is kind of rare since Wyoming is a pretty remote state and doesn’t have many Starbucks stores. From the front of the mug:
– Flaming Gorge Reservoir – which is formed by Flaming Gorge Dam. The dam was built between 1958 and 1964 on the Green River.
– The cutthroat trout – is the state fish of Idaho, Montana and Wyoming
– The bull rider – probably related to Cheyenne Frontier Days which is claimed to be the “World’s Largest Outdoor Rodeo and Western Celebration.”

The latest addition to BTO family – Starbucks Been There Ornament Ohio. From the front:
– Cuyahoga River was so polluted in 60s that it “caught fire” once (1969)

The cow from the Starbucks Been There Ornament Wisconsin is pretty cute. There are also:
– cheeses – Wisconsin is probably one of the largest cheese-producing states in the US. Here is the quote from New York Times article: “Cheese is the state’s history, its pride, its self-deprecating, sometimes goofy, cheese head approach to life”.
– apples – this is because apple is the leading fruit crop in the state

Been There – South Dakota 2

I sincerely though we’re done with US Error mugs. Boy, was I wrong! Here comes Starbucks Been There South Dakota v2! The element which has been adjusted is word “pronghorn” instead of “prong horn deer”. And it is actually a valid fix, since pronghorn, the animal from the mug, is not a deer, and it’s closest living relatives are the giraffes and okapi.

The brand new Starbucks Been There Ornament Colorado has light blue string and the inside. What’s seen on the front of the mug:
